Hope you are excited about our retreat this weekend! We're going to have a really good time and come closer to the Lord and one abother. Hopefully the rain will have moved on out but there's a small chance of a shower Sat. morning and the high temp is supposed to be in the mid-60's, I believe. So bring appropriate clothes, a good appetite, and enjoy a beautiful setting on Cordell Hull Lake.
If you need directions, holler back. The Baxter exit off 40 over to Gainesboro seems to be preferred over the earlier Gordonsville exit with route thru Granville. However, if you've never seen Granville don't miss this chance!
Blessings, and see you this weekend.

Mark your Calendars for Nov. 2
Please mark your calendars for Sunday, November 2! On that day we're planning an after-services fellowship meal (in the basement) and brief meeting of all who are interested in helping in any way with our Christmas play this year. The theme for this season's production is essentially the same as last but with minor revisions and updates. Since we'll be using last year's set this means most of the physical work has been done. However there are a few things remaining and everyone's help is so welcomed to accomplish these tasks.
Please bring a dish or two and join us for an exciting meeting! I almost get goosebumps anticipating Christmas--and especially as we make it relate to the Birth of Jesus!
